In brief
Two labels are in the making by a private individual: Lapis Certa for science, Lapis Sound for music.
Free from day one: a charter on the site, Zenodo deposit (DOI) under CC BY 4.0, and the mention “label in the making”. Trademarks come later.
Lapis Certa — honest science
The label does not say “this is true”. It says “this is presented with rigour”. Every claim carries an evidence grade:
- Established — meta-analyses, systematic reviews, or several concordant human trials.
- Plausible — demonstrated mechanism, preliminary or animal studies, limited human data.
- Hypothesis — reasoned idea, not yet tested.
- Contradicted — the best available data go against the claim.

Lapis Sound — festival music
Festival artists may release under this label, with clear contracts that leave them their authors’ rights.
